Find out the nutrient density
of the foods you eat.
Your health depends on it.

Dr. Fuhrman's Health Equation:
Health = Nutrients / Calorie

Eating enough foods with a high nutrient density, and avoiding “empty" calories is an important principle to achieve optimal health and longevity.

Do you know the nutritional density of the foods you eat? Adequate consumption of micronutrients – vitamins, minerals and many other phytochemicals – without excessive calorie intake is essential for achieving excellent health.

The ANDI Scores
Aggregate Nutrient Density Index

Dr. Fuhrman has created the ANDI (Aggregate Nutrient Density Index) to show how popular foods stack up in terms of micronutrient density per calorie. The ANDI scores were determined using 34 nutritional parameters, and foods were ranked on a scale of 1 to 1000. Cruciferous green vegetable, the healthiest foods on the planet, are at the top of the scale, with scores of 1000.
